PASSPORTS, VISAS AND VACCINATIONS

To visit any of the destinations featured on our site, a full ten year British passport must be held, with a minimum of six months validity at the time of return to the UK. It is also compulsory that all children must hold their own passport. Restrictions for non-British passport holders vary by destination and should be checked prior to booking. In some instances, visas are required and as policies are continually changing, you should check both passport and visa requirements applicable to you, prior to booking. Although we are happy to help obtain information, we cannot be held responsible if clients fail to hold the correct visa and passport documentation.

As our latest brochure went to print, there were no compulsory vaccinations required to visit the destinations featured. However, travelling to some countries carries a risk of certain infections. The Department of Health policies change and individual medical conditions vary, so we strongly recommend consultation with your doctor prior to travel.

RAMADAN

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and during this month, Muslims must not eat, drink or smoke during daylight hours. As visitors, it is important that these traditions are respected and although hotel restaurants are open, they do not serve alcohol until the evening hours. Opening hours of public restaurants and retail outlets may change during this period and there will not be any live entertainment. The dates for Ramadan are 21st August 2009 until 20th September 2009.
